The chain link fence is a widely use method of protecting a home from easy access to intruders. The problem is many people do not like to look at the metal wire surrounding their lawn. It is possible to hide your chain link fence and add decoration your lawn at the same time.

Step 1 – Plant some Ivy

Draping vegetation is a great way to hide your fence. Ivy is a vegetation many people use even if they are not looking to hide anything. Using ivy will add value to your home while at the same time covering up the fence you do not like to look at.

Step 2 – Change the Appearance

Most home improvement stores sell rolled wood fencing which is little more than a wood fence veneer to put over the chain link fence. You will add privacy to your back yard while making it look like you have spent the money to install a wooden fence

Step 3 – Camouflage Your Fence

Paint the fence in a color which matches the surrounding area. This will allow your fence to virtually disappear from sight. You will still get all the benefits of having the chain link fence without it being as noticeable.
