A vinyl fence post is a support structure of your vinyl fence. The positioning of your vinyl fence post is essential to the durability of your vinyl fencing.

Step 1 - Mark your Location

Determine the total span of your vinyl fence and calculate the amount of vinyl fence post that you need to install. Ideally, you need to have one vinyl fence post placed every six feet of your vinyl fence. Mark each post location using spray paint.

Step 2 - Dig the Hole

With a hydraulic auger, dig the holes at least two feet deep. Remove the rocks and dirt on the holes using a shovel.

Step 3 - Insert the Posts

Insert the vinyl fence post in the hole. Fill the hole with concrete mix to secure your vinyl fence post. Do the same with the remaining fence posts. Make sure that all the vinyl fence posts are level with each other. Tie a string on each end of the post and adjust the height of your vinyl fence post with a rubber mallet.

Step 4 - Add Water

With a water hose, fill the post hole with water to cure the concrete mix.
