How to Install Steam Shower Speakers
You would want to install steam shower speakers if you want to enjoy music or listen to the radio for companionship while you are showering. You will find it a very luxurious and an enjoyable experience. It is not difficult to install steam shower speakers. However, you need to ensure that you install your shower speakers properly. Not installing them properly can pose a danger to you and your family members. Simply follow the step-by-step instructions below to install your steam shower speakers.

Step 1 – Decide on the Type of Steam Shower Speakers
The first step to install steam shower speakers is to decide on what types of speakers you want. It is very important to choose the correct type of speakers as your shower speakers that are waterproof and able to withstand water. You cannot choose speakers that are commonly used in the living room area, as they are not made for the shower. Choose shower speakers that you can hang onto the wall as it is much easier to install because you do not need to make large holes.
It is best to go with wireless steam shower speakers as it is the easiest to install. Wireless speakers are usually more expensive than the traditional types. If you are on a budget, then go for wired shower speakers.
Step 2 – Decide on the Location
You need to decide on where you want to place your steam shower speakers. Choosing a suitable location for your speakers is very important because you do not want to have any problems later on if they are placed too near the heater. Placing the speakers near the heater will wear them out sooner. You will also find it hard to hear the music if the heater cracks or bubbles and the water splashes over them. Place the speakers at a location that is furthest away from the heater.
Step 3 – Drill Holes to Mount the Steam Shower Bracket
After you have purchased your steam shower speakers and decided on the location, the next step is to mount the bracket onto the shower wall. The bracket usually comes together with the speakers when you purchase. You will need to attach the shower speakers to the bracket so that they are angled within the steam shower enclosure area.
Place the brackets against the wall and use a level to make sure that it is straight. Then, mark the 2 spots with an ‘X’ where you are going drill for installing the bracket with a marker. Place a masking tape over the ‘X’ marks. Masking tape prevents cracking of the surrounding area of the tile. Then, make ‘X’ marks on the masking tape again with a marker. Then, drill the 2 holes through the wall with a drill.
Step 4 – Mount the Bracket
Screw the bracket onto the shower walls with an anchor and screwdriver. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions when doing this.
Step 5 – Drill Holes for the Wires
If you have bought wireless shower speakers, you can skip this step and proceed to place the speakers on the mount. However, if you have bought wired speakers, follow through this step.
Mark the spot on the wall (center of the bracket) for drilling a hole with an ‘X’. This is for the wires to go through the walls. Then, repeat the process in step 3 where you place the masking tape and drill the hole. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions on wiring connections.
