What You'll Need
Taffeta
Iron
Ironing board
Damp, cotton cloth
Steamer

Taffeta can be extremely difficult to deal with. This is not to say you cannot do anything about wrinkles. By following a few simple and easy steps, you will be to get rid of wrinkles on your taffeta clothing.

Step 1 – Preheat Iron

Plug in your iron and turn the dial to the lowest setting. This is usually the silk setting on most irons. If there is not silk setting, simply turn the dial to the lowest possible setting.

Step 2 – Cover and Iron

Use a thin, damp, cotton cloth to cover the area you are looking to iron. Iron gently in order to avoid creating shiny spots in the fabric. Move the cloth as you get rid of all the wrinkles in the fabric. Hang up the garment as soon as you are done.

Step 3 – Use a Steamer

The steamer is the best tool to use when getting rid of wrinkles in taffeta. Simply wave the steamer wand in front of the garment and remove all wrinkles. Use your hands to smooth out any dificult patches.
