The belt-driven garage door openers are on the expensive side among the different types of garage door openers available in the market. It has many advantages and also lasts for a long time if maintained properly. Step 1: Check the Manual Release Handle

Purchase a spray lithium lubricant from the market and use it on all the movable parts of the opener. Run the opener a few times after applying the lubricant.
Step 3: Check the Door Hinges
After using the garage door for several years the hinges and springs may begin to show wear, making it more and more difficult to lift and close the door. From time to time check the hinges. If necessary, replace them.
