Making a Christmas wreath with dried flowers can festively adorn your front door. Dried flowers are simple to work with and come in a variety of holiday and seasonal rich colors. In addition, Christmas wreaths are popular selling items at craft shows and holiday fairs.
You Will Need
- Styrofoam wreath form
- Fabric Ribbon
- White glue
- Holiday colored dried flowers
Step 1: Completely Cover Wreath With Ribbon
Wrap ribbon tightly around your wreath form, gluing the Styrofoam as you go. Press down on the ribbon to make sure the bond is strong and the ribbon does not loosen.
Step 2: Glue Dried Flowers On Wreath
Glue your dried flowers onto your wreath after you have completely covered it with your ribbon, making sure that no Styrofoam is visible. When choosing your dried flowers, make sure you get them in holiday colors such as red, green, silver and gold. Glue your dried flowers onto your Christmas wreath and hold in place for a few second to give the glue a chance to bond. Cover the entire wreath with dried flowers to ensure that it will look full and abundant.
Step 3: Allow Wreath To Dry
Allow your Christmas wreath to completely dry before hanging it up. If the wreath is not completely dry before you use the wreath, the flowers may become loose and fall off.
