A holiday wreath dresses up your home and inspires a holiday spirit while evoking memories of holidays past. A grapevine and evergreen holiday wreath looks rich and natural, further adding to the beautiful and festive holiday atmosphere. Making a holiday wreath does not need to be expensive or challenging when you use your imagination.
Tools and Materials
- Undecorated grapevine wreath form
- Evergreen branches
- Crafting glue
- Florist pins
- Red velvet bows
- Pine cones
- Gold glitter
Step 1: Glue Evergreen Branches onto Grapevine Wreath Form
Glue fresh evergreen pieces or branches onto your grapevine wreath form that you have purchased from a craft store. Use florist or push pins to further secure your fresh evergreen branches to your wreath.
Step 2: Attach Bows and Pine Cones
With your crafting glue, attach your red velvet bows and pine cones onto the evergreen branches that you have glued to your wreath. When gluing the bows and pine cones, make sure you gently press them onto the branches to make sure they bond and stay in place.
Step 3: Sprinkle Glitter onto Wreath
After the wreath has completely dried, sprinkle gold glitter onto the entire wreath. Shake off extra glitter into a receptacle. It is not necessary to add glue to your wreath because the glitter will adhere on it's own to the evergreen branches, bows and pine cones. You can, however, add a small amount of glue in areas where you want the glitter to be especially concentrated.
