What You'll Need
3/8 Eye Bolts
3/8 Clothes Line Hooks
1/2 " Galvanized Tees
1/2 " Galvanized 90 Degree Street Elbows
Steel Gas Line Pipe (48)
3/8 Rod Coupling Nuts
Drywall Anchors
30 Chains

A pot rack bar is something that can very easily be built. If built correctly and with the right parts, this bar can cost very little money and be built in less than an hour.

Step 1 – Attach Chains

You will need to begin by attaching your chains to the wall or ceiling that you wish to have this bar hang from. Use your drywall anchors to do this. Be sure that they are secured and that the chains themselves can support about ninety pounds.

Step 2 – Attach Pipe

The street elbows will be what attach the pipe to the chain. These should screw right into together with no problem.

Step 3 – Attach Hooks

Your hooks will be attached in a way that will allow them to move easily according to the size of the pot or pan you are using. Make sure that they are all facing the same way so that the pots and pans will not clang together throughout the day and night.
