Humidity levels especially in the summer can be unbearable. Here are a few ways to help reduce the humidity in your kitchen to a comfortable level.

Turn on the Fan

A ceiling fan can help to reduce the humidity in one room by providing circulation. You will want to keep the ceiling fans on especially while cooking.

Use the Exhaust Fan

Using the exhaust fan is something many people forget to do. While you are cooking, running the dishwasher, and especially hand washing the dishes you will want to make sure that the exhaust fan is on so that it can remove both the heat and any moisture from the room which will greatly help to control humidity.

Use a Dehumidifier

On days that it is extremely humid outside you will want to bring in a dehumidifier to your home and have it running in or near the kitchen. This can go throughout the day or just while you are cooking or using the dishwasher if the humidity levels aren't too bad.

Each of these things individually will help to bring down the humidity level in the kitchen and used together will work wonders.
