What You'll Need
Sponge
Soap scum remover liquid (available at your local store)
Scour pad

If your bathtub is looking a little dingy, or it feels a little slick, it's time to remove soap scum that has built up in your tub. This is easily done by purchasing the right items, and following the simple steps below. If you do this, your tub should be back to normal, and beautiful in no time.

Step 1 - Purchase Cleaner

Depending on what you prefer, there are a lot of cleaners available for purchase. The decision of what to go with is up to you.

Step 2 - Apply the Cleaner

You will want to use your cleaner to completely cover the tub area. This is a time when too much is not enough. You will want to let the cleaner soak for about twelve to fifteen minutes before moving on to the next step.

Step 3 - Scrub

Now you can grab your sponge and scrub, starting in a certain spot, and going in a pattern. This will ensure that you have covered everything.

Step 4 - Rinse

Now you can use warm water to rinse it away. At the same time, take a scour pad and scrub. This will grab any spots that may have been missed.
