You can maintain a scratch-free ceramic bathroom sink with little time and effort by following the steps listed below.

Step 1 - Obtain a Porcelain Repair Kit

Purchase an epoxy-porcelain repair kit. When purchasing your kit, be sure to find a color that is a lighter shade than your sink. Mix components in the kit by following the manufacturer’s directions.

Step 2 - Clean Scratches and Nicks

Remove all dust or dirt in the scratches or nicks of your porcelain by using a cotton ball and rubbing alcohol. Use a microfiber cloth and wipe each of the scratches until they are completely dry.

Step 3 - Apply the Epoxy

Use the end of a matchstick or a toothpick, dip it into the repair solution provided in your kit, and carefully dab the solution into the nicks or scratches. Use the tip of a dried marker that has been washed to fill larger cracks. Be sure the color in the marker tip has been removed.

Step 4 - Apply Additional Coats

After applying your epoxy, allow at least an hour before you apply a required second coat to each chip or scratch. Continue this process until all scratches and holes have been repaired.
