Installing a dryer vent filter is a pretty simple process and can be done within a few minutes. However, this is an important task, so making sure to follow the directions will keep you from running into problems with the dryer later on.
Step 1 - Find a Place for The Vent
You will typically be able to spot the place where the vent is and the filter should go. Depending on the model of the dryer, you will want to look on the top or inside of the opening of the door. After you have found the slot, measure to make sure you buy a filter of the same size.
Step 2 - Install Filter
In the slot, insert the part of the filter that stays in place, which should be the bigger of the two. Using the drill, you can attach it to the actual dryer.
Step 3 - Finish it Off
Once the filter itself is attached, all you have to do is insert the removal part of the filter. Make sure to clean it out every time before you use the dryer.
