Plastic flooring system comes in a wide variety of colors, shapes, and textures. This type of flooring can be used both indoors and outdoors; it is very easy to install.
Measure for Amount
Before you install plastic flooring, measure your room to see how many tiles you will need. Basic plastic flooring tile will cover 2.6-square feet. If you have a room that is 120-square feet, then you will need 47 tiles. You should add at least 10 more in case of mistakes or future replacements.
Line With Edge Pieces
If you are not going right up against the wall, you will need to install some edging to contain the plastic flooring, for example, at entryways. If you are not going to cover the entire room, you will need to lay edging on the parts that are open.
Install From Corner
Start in a corner and work your way across the floor. Set the tile in place with the hook facing outward. Cut off the "male" ends that are being set up against the wall. When you start the next tier, snap the tiles together to finish the room.
