Is a wicker or cedar porch swing more eco friendly? Is a wicker or cedar porch swing more eco friendly?

A cedar porch swing is not as eco-friendly as a wicker porch swing because a wicker one doesn’t damage any of the woodland trees, even though it is made to look like wood. It is actually made of a resin plastic twisted around metal. On the other hand, cedar comes from trees and means that you have to cut a tree down to make one, so unless you plant more, it makes it not as eco-friendly as the wicker swing. A cedar porch swing has to be sealed, and that takes away from it being eco-friendly because only “green” or unprocessed wood could perhaps be considered eco-friendly.
