Is stone or brick garden edging easier to repair?
Brick garden edging and stone garden edging are both popular choices for garden edgings in all types of homes.
- Brick edging is usually laid out with the bricks end to end around a flower bed, tree or path. If a brick is out of line or broken, it is just a matter of replacing it by lifting up the old one and putting in a new one.
- Stone edging is also laid out, usually, one stone next to another. If there is a problem, it's just a matter of lifting out one stone and replacing it with another.
- But if the brick edging uses mortar to secure the bricks, stone edging will likely be easier to repair.
