A frameless glass shower door can be a great addition to your bathroom, especially if your shower has been redone in tile and you don't want to hide it behind a shower curtain. A glass door can make your bathroom feel both larger and more attractive, but it needs to be sparkling clean.
Step 1 - Keep it Sparkling
Your new frameless glass shower door requires more maintenance than a regular curtain from the start. Use a small squeegee to wipe away soap and water drops after every shower.
Step 2 - Prevent Water Stains
Water drops that have settled on glass are nearly impossible to remove. Soap scum and shampoo cause tough stains. If you don't squeegee and stains accumulate, use a non-abrasive cream or spray cleaner and scrub your glass gently. If you wait too long, the water stains may never be removed.
Step 3 - Maintenance is Key
You will soon find out that it is a lot easier to wipe your glass everyday than scrubbing it once a week. Your shower glass door will always look brand new, and so will your bathroom.
