March DIM Star: Updated Bathroom

Once a month we like to shine the spotlight on an impressive DIYer by giving their shared project the ol’ “Did It Myself” (DIM) stamp of honor. And, as an added bonus, all DIM Stars are automatically entered into consideration for our first annual DIM Awards in May.

This month we congratulate "deva44" on their renovated bathroom. Share your project and next time it could be you!

What They Did

This DIYer brought a 1970s-era bathroom into the 21st century on a budget of $700. The small green and white shower tiles were replaced with large white 12x12 tiles and a decorative band across the middle. Frosted shower doors were replaced with clear glass ones, and the fixtures and vanity were also updated.

Why We Like It

The whole project only took this DIYer 8 days. Not bad for a fresh new look on a budget!
