Ease and simplicity, but unnecessary
Motorized blinds are a luxury of technology that allows one to draw or close one’s blinds without manual labor of the owner. This invention, though superfluous in usefulness, can have its advantages when considering exceptionally large blinds in which manual drawing can be difficult. In these cases the cost of the blinds might be outweighed by the need, but in nearly all other situations the purpose is unnecessary.
Motorized blinds are not very expensive, considering their use, but any expense in the case of such a superfluity should be avoided. The maintenance of another mechanical product in one’s home is also an inconvenience that should be taken into consideration. They are liable to break, and when they do the blinds may not be able to be drawn or closed until they are fixed, another expense at the hands of the owner.
