Here is a list of some of the pro's and con's you may want to consider before purchasing a pressure-assisted toilet.
Pro - Water Level
The high water level of pressure-assisted toilets keep the bowl much cleaner. It does not need to be cleaned as frequently.
Pro - Stronger Flush
The strong flush of these toilets will assure that it only needs to be flushed once, making it very efficient.
Pro - No Condensation
Due to the design of pressure-assisted toilets, there is no sweating or condensation on the outside of the tank in humid conditions.
Con - Very Noisy
When this type of toilet is flushed, it is very loud. It will continue to make a loud whooshing sound for several seconds.
Con - Parts Replacement
Because it is not a standard toilet, replacement parts can be difficult to obtain.
Con - Expensive to Purchase
Pressure-assisted toilets are very expensive. Traditional gravity flow toilets are normally half the cost.
