How to Repair Bathroom Vanity Doors How to Repair Bathroom Vanity Doors

What You'll Need
Hinge set
Screws
Screwdriver
Drill

Bath cabinet vanity doors take a beating. Repairing doors that have become uneven or wobbly is a simple job that requires a few tools and some time.

Step 1 - Check the Hinges

If the vanity cabinet door hangs unevenly or doesn't completely close, simply adjusting the hinge may correct the problem. There are 2 screws on the hinge. They are the adjustment screws. One is for depth and the other is for width. Use the screwdriver to adjust them. European hinges aren't difficult, but there is no set way to adjust them, you just have to toil until the door is even.

Step 2 - Replace the Hinges

Replace hinges that are badly damaged or rusted. A common problem is for the screws to strip the holes. In that case, adjust the placement of the hinge and use either longer or wider screws.

Step 3 - Replace the Door

If moisture has warped the door, replace it entirely.
