Using Mouthwash to Keep Mosquitoes Away
Believe it or not, the mouthwash you use daily to keep cavities at bay is also a great solution to your problem with mosquitoes. Mosquitoes are a real annoyance during the warm months and learning how to get rid of them by using nothing more than mouthwash is a godsend.
There are dozens of products on the market that help deter and frighten away mosquitoes, but none of these are really necessary. It's possible to scare away mosquitoes by using a spray bottle full of mouthwash.
The reason this works is because mouthwash contains eucalyptus oil which is often included as one of the ingredients in various commercial mosquito deterrents.
How to Apply
To use mouthwash as an effective mosquito control you just need a bottle of mouthwash, and also a spray bottle. Pour the mouthwash into the spray bottle and then you're good to go.
Once you've put the mouthwash into the bottle you need to spray it around your garden. Concentrate on areas where there are standing water, or areas by doors and windows. The mouthwash will need to be repeated again in the near future, but it is fairly successful.
