What are some different types of vented fireplace logs?

In homes where the occupants enjoy a fireplace but do not have a chimney or vent to expel smoke or dangerous gasses, vented fire place logs now are available in three types.

Vented Logs

Vented logs are usually available in varieties such as oak, hazel, and birch. These logs do use up oxygen in the room in which they are burned.

Unvented Logs

These logs do not use up oxygen. For this reason, among others, they are favored more often.

Partially Vented Logs

Partially vented logs burn up less oxygen than the vented logs but more than the unvented logs
