The electric hydronic baseboard heater provides a way to heat a room or entire home as energy costs rise. A hydronic heater will have a buildup of pressure inside of it since it is filled with steam or hot water. Most units have a valve to release this build up. This usually must be done by hand. Be careful, as the steam escaping can be very hot. Baseboard heaters and metal radiators get very warm, and you can be burned slightly if you touch or fall against them. Also, be careful of children and pets around them, and keep furniture and draperies a safe distance away from baseboard heaters.
