What are the pros and cons of timber edging?
One of the pros of timber edging is that the wood is pre-fabricated, making it easier to install. You don’t need to go through the hassle of measuring, cutting and continuous sanding. It is also less prone to shrinkage since the wood has been treated already. It is also a good insulator, perfect for those cold December nights. For the cons, it is harder to design and is usually done by professionals. It also has longer delivery lead times since it is pre-fabricated. The pieces are all cut in the factory to your specifications before delivery. Finally it is also not that good of a sound insulator and needs other materials to complement it.
