What is the best way to hold the corners together on a wooden toy chest? What is the best way to hold the corners together on a wooden toy chest?
Before moving to hold the corners on a wooden toy chest, start by cutting out the pieces for front and back, sides and the base as per your requirement. Stand the sides pieces and glue the inside edges in a way that they form corners with the front and the back piece. Once the 4 pieces are glued together to loosely form a frame, use nails and clamps to spackle the box on all sides. Once the frame is ready, you can glue it to the base piece. Repeat the clamping and nailing to firmly attach the base to the frame. You should now have a box that is without a lid. For added strength, you can also add L-Brackets to all the corners.
