Will a flue pipe increase property value?

A flue pipe with a hole in it will allow carbon monoxide and fumes to get into your home, and that can be dangerous. The flue pipe also protects your chimney brick from a build up of smoke debris from the furnace and fireplace, and that prevents fires from happening.
