Will Tub Tile Paint Affect the Acoustics in the Room? Will Tub Tile Paint Affect the Acoustics in the Room?

Tub tile paint can have an effect on the acoustics of a room of a certain size. Generally, if you have a larger bathroom, you will not tell much of a difference unless you are close the the tub. The difference will be when the water is running full blast. It will be a softer sound than before you painted.

Due to the primer, the paint and then the sealer used when painting or resurfacing your tub, there will be a heavier surface into which the sound will be absorbed. This will cause it to be less loud than before the painting.
