I got the oppprtunity to remodel a small cottage in which I was given somewhat of a free reign on what to do and how to go about it. Homeowners were scaling down 2000 sqft to 900.What began as a simple kitchen remodel turned into designing and building something that would accomidate there needs along with "what they like",in such a small place. This job is in progress, and should be for another month or so. My first moves were to open it up some, remove a wall, install some pocket doors to gain some space, and wrap an old beam. I then build some false beams to get the feel for "what they like".The kitchen cabs came from home depot with some modification on my part.
Drywall • Knotty pine for beams and trim • Cherry cabinets • Synthetic flooring
