This was our first major DIY project, this was very stressful at times, but now that we are 95% complete totally worth it. Granit is being installed in 2 days, and we just have minor things left to finish. Stay tuned for the "after" pics.*** The estimate that we received from a contractor to do exactly what we did was 15K.**Updates consisted of:-Stripped existing cabinets, painted /glazed and added crown moulding (Major improvement)-Routed out the corner cabinet, replaced with glass panel-Remove soffit-Replaced old floor with porcelain tile-Granite counter tops-Built in microwave-new lighting fixtures (oil rubbed bronze)/ under cabinet lightingr-emove fruit wall paper, replace with paint and beadboard-Tumbled marble backsplash-new hardware
