I loved the retail mirror however at eight hundred dollars I couldn't afford it. I made mine from eight inch mirror candle plates from walmart, half inch plywood base, and thin trim. I first stained the plywood so that any imperfections in placement would not show. I then dry placed all the pieces..then set them with liquid nails. It weighs about a hundred pounds so its extremely heavy to mount, therefore I put it on our mantel. The total size is approx four feet by four feet.
