I started in my bathroom. I got a roll of red rosin paper at home depot 1 gallon of pro (home depot brand) semi clear gloss polyurethane and 1 gallon of Elmer's glue all! That's all I needed for my master bath and it only took a day an 1/2. For my living room and Hall area I used about 2 1/2 gallons glue and 3 gallons of clear gloss pro polyurethane and I needed a little more paper due to my mass over spray with the paint sprayer ugh.. This project took longer due to fixing my boo boo which was over half my living room! I mixed my glue with water in a bucket and painted each piece of paper front and back. I found painting the back side with the glue mix then laying smoothing then topping with glue mix is best for no bumps!
