One of our editors is a bit of a neat freak. She had a few used pallets waiting around for a good upcycling so decided to build this shoe bench. First she cut the slats off the pallets and chopped them down to size... 20 inches high, 30 inches long, 14 inches deep. Next she sanded the rough edges off, but left the rustic look. Then she attached it all together with the easy-to-use Ryobi Cordless Brad Nailer and protected it with several coats of stain and sealer.
