remodeling living room

I had been researching online different techniques for special effects painting and I wanted something with texture so I found some Faux painting ideas and ran with it. Came in under budget spent a total of 1075.00

Step 1

plain ugly whit walls is what I had for 17years I needed a change.

Step 2

this was the 1st coating of paint and I added some crumbled up tissue paper into wet paint and sealed it by rolling paint over it in spots.

Step 3

2nd coat paint I rag rolled on in a hit & miss pattern.color is Peach tea. 3rd color is Sienna Red and I used a sponge to apply it.

Step 4

with 3 different colors of paint applied I was really happy but to set it all off I added a gold metallic glaze on the top and finished it all with a clear topcoat, to me it is BEAUTIFUL.

Step 5

All finished. little Ej on the sofa.

Step 6

l painted for 3 days. did the ceilings before the walls.

Step 7

then after all the painting was done had new flooring installed.
