I love the look of pallet wood. I made a couple of rigid crates (that can double as a stool). To summarise - i had dry pallet wood, that I roughly planed and sanded. Not too much. I still want to keep the rustic look. I used wood glue, nails and screws for the construction. I used plywood in the bottom of the crates.
They are easy to make, and useful/practical, sturdy and functional.
The budget is just an estimate of some screws, nails, glue and some paint.
